 Job purpose 
 Under the direction of the Director of Table Games, the incumbent is responsible for overall management of all casino Table Games for a particular shift. 
 Duties and responsibilities 
-  Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Rules and Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Company and departmental policies and procedures. 
-  Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of this ICS. 
-  Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees. 
-  Offer the highest possible level of Customer Service resulting in a maximum level of guest enjoyment and return play. 
-  Attain maximum product revenue by communicating to the Casino Operations Manager with reference to product mixture, positioning, pricing, as well as the evaluation of new product. 
-  Recruit, select, train, coach, counsel, recognize, and retain Table Game Supervisors who constantly perform actions and behaviors that reinforce excellence in business operations and guest service. 
-  Evaluate current business conditions, special events, weather, etc. and staff accordingly. 
-  Create a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly, and conducive to a high level of morale, productivity, and performance. 
-  Handle casino guests’ needs, complaints and disputes related to table games and the overall property in a timely, professional manner. 
-  Distribute cards, dice and tiles, and gaming pits. 
-  Visually inspect all casino equipment and follow procedures for notification, repair, and replacement. 
-  Ensure the protection of customers’ rewards and credit lines. 
-  Maintain confidentiality of all Golden Nugget proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information 
-  Create and ensure a fun-filled, entertaining, and exciting environment. 
-  Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic. 
-  Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. 
-  Maintain a work environment that is safe, professional, friendly, and conducive to a high level of productivity, performance, and morale. 
-  Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors, and Golden Nugget staff. 
-  Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic. 
-  Promote positive public/employee relations at all times. 
-  Perform any duties on or off-site involving guest services and quality control including, but not limited to, special events, guest giveaways, crowd control, property cleanliness, and other hospitality functions as needed. 
-  Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. 
-  Safeguard the confidential information of all employees, department, and company records. 
-  Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations. 
-  Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations. 
-  Perform other duties as assigned. 
 Qualifications 
-  High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
-  Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 
-  Ability to obtain a gaming license. 
-  Ten (10) years table game experience strongly preferred. 
-  Two (2) years in a Table Games Supervisor role is preferred. 
-  Experience in Table Games for multiple games including blackjack, baccarat, and carnival games is required. 
-  Demonstrated successful performance in a guest service role. 
-  Must be knowledgeable in all primary casino games and most secondary games. 
-  Must have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. 
-  Excellent verbal communication skills are required. 
-  Ability to read and understand all Golden Nugget policies and procedures and an ability to complete standard forms and reports is required. 
-  The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. 
-  Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals. 
-  Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. 
-  Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
