The Glasgow City-County Library is seeking a part-time Library Assistant. Applicants must be friendly, helpful, creative, and good communicators. The focus of the position is to assist library staff and the director with various projects and programs. The position also requires some physical lifting, being able to move up and down stairs, and to safely climb ladders. Must have good computer skills and exceptional understanding of different mobile devices to be comfortable assisting patrons on devices and public computers. Other job duties include working at the circulation desk, fulfilling patron requests, shelving books, handling returns, assisting with various events, answering phones, faxing, scanning documents, using the copy machine, computer work, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
Pay: $11.50 per hour
