• Location: Greenville, NC (27834) – Eastern North Carolina healthcare jobs\n
• Unit: Cancer Center Surgical Oncology (32-bed flex unit)\n
• Duration: 13-week travel RN contract\n
• Hours per Week: 36 hours\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts\n
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (On-Site)\n
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling for work-life balance\n
• Staffing Ratio: 1:4 RN-to-patient\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910\n

\n\nQualifications – Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact state RN licenses accepted)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience in oncology, surgical, or acute care settings\n
• ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications required\n
• Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac strips\n
• Eligible to work within an 80-mile radius of Greenville, NC\n
• Willingness to float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed\n
• Availability to work 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule\n
• All requested time off must be approved prior to confirmation\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities – Oncology RN Jobs\n

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to surgical oncology and benign surgical patients\n
• Care for patients with ENT, colorectal, OB/GYN, urology, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and thoracic conditions\n
• Support patients under plastic surgeon management\n
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to oncology treatments\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care\n
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records\n
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care delivery\n
