Linville Caverns is currently accepting applications for Tour Guide Positions.
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, dependable individuals to share the fascinating ecosystem that exists inside a mountain with visitors.
Tour guides will be trained to provide information pertaining to the history, geography, environment, and unique folklore of the Caverns during 35 to 40 minute trips of this National and local historic site.
If you enjoy interacting with the public then this is the job for you!
We are in need of staff with the capability of working weekdays, weekends, and some holidays. A basic knowledge of local geology and history is a plus, but not required. The ability to conduct multiple 35 to 40 minute tours during an 8 hour work day and committing to memory required facts is a must.
Linville Caverns is semi seasonal, our current days of operation are Thursday through Monday, March 1st to November 30th. December, January, and February are weekends only. We are also closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Benefits include: Dental Insurance and Health Insurance - Minimum hourly requirement to qualify.
Schedule: 8 hour day shifts, 2 to 5 days per week.
Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
