Job Description

Our client, a sports betting company, is looking for a Sports Social Media Content Creator, for a remote temp-to-perm position working EST hours. In this position, you'll be the driving force behind crafting compelling and engaging content for our sports-centric social media platforms. You'll have a passion for sports, a creative spark, and a knack for storytelling that captivates our audience. Your role will involve taking video footage from multi-camera shoots and editing quickly into short social spots to help amplify their brand's presence in the sports community.

This position is remote and requires EST hours.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with the brand's voice and audience preferences across multiple social media platforms.
• Utilize a strong video editing background to produce high-quality video content optimized for different social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with broader campaigns and promotional activities.
• Monitor trends, audience engagement, and analytics to optimize content performance and drive growth.
• Manage content calendars, schedules, and timely delivery of content in alignment with sports events and news cycles.
• Stay updated on industry innovations and best practices to continually evolve and enhance the brand's social media presence.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven experience in social media content creation, particularly within the sports industry.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their algorithms, and content optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools, including advanced video editing software (Premiere), graphic design tools, and social media management platforms.
• Exceptional storytelling abilities with a keen eye for detail and a knack for creating compelling narratives.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and insights to refine content strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and engage with external partners.
• A passion for sports, a deep knowledge of different sports, and an understanding of sports culture and fandoms.
