The Senior Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and equipment to support medical procedures. This role requires certification and experience in sterile processing, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure availability of sterile supplies. The position is based in a healthcare setting focused on patient safety and mission-driven care.
Description
The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.
