As a Security Professional Unarmed Media Patrol in Hanahan, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, monitoring for any security-related incidents, and remaining highly visible to help to deter potential issues. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication as you address questions or concerns. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable using technology such as computers or tablets and who enjoy being active while on the job. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees, providing assistance as needed.
• Assist with emergency and evacuation procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
