Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in retail loss prevention, fraud detection, or corporate security — particularly at the level expected for licensed investigators or asset protection specialists responsible for theft prevention, risk management, and incident resolution. Role Overview In this role, you will be working on projects to help evaluate and improve AI using your investigative and analytical expertise. No prior AI experience is required. These projects will help you learn how to leverage AI to strengthen fraud detection, enhance risk assessment, and optimize retail and corporate security operations. What Does Day-to-Day Look Like Design and solve real-world retail investigation and loss prevention scenarios to test AI reasoning. Write clear, structured explanations covering surveillance methods, fraud analysis, evidence handling, and incident reporting. Evaluate AI responses for legal accuracy, compliance with consumer protection laws, and operational relevance. Collaborate with AI researchers to refine model understanding of security procedures, investigative best practices, and ethical standards. Requirements 4+ years of experience as a Private Investigator, Loss Prevention Specialist, or Security Manager in retail or corporate settings. Valid investigator or security license (where required). Strong understanding of fraud detection, retail theft prevention, and evidence documentation.
