Raytheon’s Airborne Effector Production (AEP) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of airborne electrical products. Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
  • Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred.
  • Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
  • Shift Information: 1st shift

  • One will achieve a RTX Core Certification and a Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Certification

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Education & Experience
    • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior Engineering experience. 
  • Skills & Certifications
    • This position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience with any of the following: RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing
    • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
  • Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), Advanced Design System (ADS), Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer.
  • Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems.
  • Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
  • Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking& reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
