Yoh is hiring a Medical Device Assembler  for our Santa Fe Springs, CA client. In the Medical Device Assembler  role , you will be responsible for the precise, manual sewing of medical devices (stents) using specialized tools and a microscope, while strictly adhering to company and regulatory guidelines. They are seeking someone with manual dexterity and the ability to work in a clean room environment using a microscope.

Job Functions

• Assembly: Perform sewing assembly steps on stents and shunts using needles, scissors, forceps and other specialized tools.
• Verification: Conduct verifications of completed sewing steps against specifications and perform visual inspections under a microscope.
• Documentation: Record traceable information in device history records and other systems, such as JobBOSS and UniPoint.
• Compliance: Adhere to all work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and sanitized work area at the start of each shift and when switching between work orders. 

Education, Licensure and/or Experience

• Qualifications Dexterity and Precision: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential for the intricate task of sewing.
• Detail-Oriented: A high level of attention to detail is required to meet strict specifications and ensure quality.
• Microscopic Vision: Ability to perform visual inspections and sewing tasks using a microscope.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency is needed for documentation and system entry.
• Cleanroom Protocol: Adherence to cleanroom and other company rules, including sanitized attire and environmental controls
• Experience with previous sewing, GMP, clean room, medical device experience.
• Successful completion of ongoing job training of assembly process steps.
