Overview Ulta Beauty invites a Master Stylist to deliver professional haircare services and exceptional guest experiences. The role focuses on creative styling, product knowledge, and sales performance in a collaborative salon environment. Responsibilities Provide hair design, cutting, coloring, texturing, and advanced treatments including extensions, perms, keratin, and blowouts. Consult guests on hair care needs, recommend services and products, and promote the Ulta Beauty loyalty program. Meet sales and productivity goals: average weekly service sales of $1,250 and strong retail and service sales performance. Execute in‑store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to enhance the guest experience. Demonstrate and sell professional hair care and makeup products to drive revenue. Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures and Ulta Beauty standards. Qualifications Education – Cosmetology license. Experience – Previous relevant work experience is required. Skills – Proficiency in cutting, coloring, texturing, styling, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (when applicable); knowledge of salon equipment and chemicals; strong communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively; aptitude to build and maintain client relationships. Special Position Requirements – Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions Continuous mobility during shift. Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs during shift. Frequent bending, reaching, and twisting during shift. Ability to stand for long periods of time during shift. Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $19.00 – $19.00 per hour. Eligible associates may earn services pay and overtime pay as required by law and tips paid by service guests. Full‑time positions qualify for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part‑time positions qualify for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
