Inserter Operator

What does a successful Inserter Operator do at Fiserv? Join our team at the Hazelwood, MO location where you'll receive advanced training on our world-class inserting equipment. You will set up, maintain, and troubleshoot the insert machine to ensure the production of accurate work in a timely manner. Conduct quality checks and perform other tasks based on workload requirements.

What you will do:

• Operate a variety of insert machines manufactured by Pitney Bowes and Bluecrest.
• Adapt and multitask as production volume changes without advanced notice.
• Conduct quality checks to verify that inserted materials are accurate and separate any damaged mail.
• Stage materials after job run for warehouse pickup.

What you will need to have:

• 2+ years of experience using a computer for data entry.
• 2+ years of proficiency in spoken and written English.
• 2+ years of ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities.
• Ability to stand for 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel, and bend often.
• A high school diploma and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• 3+ years of experience operating inserting machines.

Important info about this role:

• Compensation starts at $18/hour.
• You will work an assigned schedule of: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
• Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts.
• Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
