We are seeking a skilled and passionate copywriter with 4-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is a masterful storyteller who can internalize client objectives and brand guidelines to ensure all copy is consistent in tone, style, and messaging. You will be responsible for creating a wide range of high-quality content that supports our clients' PR and communications strategies, editing ongoing client work, and new business proposals. Responsibilities include: Developing, writing, and editing a wide variety of long-form and short-form content, including but not limited to: Press releases, media advisories, and media pitches that are newsworthy and compelling. Bylined articles, op-eds, and thought leadership pieces for executive placement. Key messaging documents, talking points, and media briefing materials. Social media content, including posts for LinkedIn. Award submissions, speeches, and presentation scripts. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. 4-5 years of professional copywriting experience, with a significant portion spent at a PR agency or in-house communications role. A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your writing skills across various formats (press releases, bylined articles, and messaging documents are a must). Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable command of grammar and style (AP Style proficiency is highly preferred). Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging copy for various audiences. Solid understanding of public relations principles and the media landscape. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of SEO principles as they apply to content.
