Role Summary:

The Client Relationship Manager will focus on managing the ongoing client relationships within our Seattle office, supporting and processing their requests. You’ll be responsible for retaining clients and providing excellent service. You’ll report into the Regional Vice President of the Seattle office.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with group retirement plan clients and key personnel for plans generally with under $1 million in assets and unaudited. *Plan sizes may vary depending on regional office plan count, demographics, and your overall degree of experience
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and servicing of group retirement plan clients
  • On an ongoing basis, maintain compliance calendar for each client to ensure timely execution of required annual compliance tasks
  • Facilitate client (plan sponsor), and participant inquiries and service requests in a proactive manner
  • Coordinate the request of any plan amendments, fund changes etc.)
  • Support client payroll remittance process
  • Coordinate plan support services (audit support, 5500’s, compliance testing) with home office to ensure services are delivered timely and accurately
  • Work closely within the regional team (Regional Officer, Client Relationship Manager, Group Account and Participant Account Representatives) to coordinate appropriate delivery of MOA services
  • Fulfill, as needed, the requests of other Client Relationship Managers in the office including Senior Client Relationship Managers in support of tasks that may need to be completed due to urgency/learning opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent business writing, presentation, and phone skills
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, and multitask during a business day
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Communication skills and comfortability speaking with payroll managers, human resource directors and potentially c suite executives

  • Active FINRA Series 6 and SIE or must obtained within the first year of employment
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in group retirement plan industry
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of corporate/group retirement plans (403(b), 401(k) and 457 plans) including: retirement plan design, investment monitoring, plan administration, compliance testing and understanding of retirement plan rules & regulations.

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.

Base Salary Range:

$50,000 - $65,000
