Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Application Analyst I - Epic Beacon

Join MSK as an Application Analyst I - Epic Beacon and help enhance oncology care through technology. Configure and maintain clinical tools, resolve Epic work queue issues, and design workflow solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize documentation and ensure efficient, reliable support for providers and patients across the enterprise.

Role Overview

• Maintain and develop new documentation tools such as flow sheet, smart sets, and notes

• Assist with answering tickets in EPIC work ques

• Analyze complex business problems and design technology, integration, and workflow solutions.

• Identify system gaps and provide technical expertise to inform functional specifications.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders

• Actively contribute to technical discussions, offering insights that improve solutions.

• Assist with work ques within EPIC

Key Qualifications

• Active certification in Epic Ambulatory required

• Epic Beacon certification preferred, certification required to be obtained after starting in role (MSK will sponsor)

• Proven ability to work independently while contributing within cross-functional teams.

• Strong understanding of business process analysis and system design.

Core Skills

• Ability to work in a high volume environment with limited supervision

• Ability to clarify ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions.

• Proficiency in configuring and scaling systems to support business goals.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage peers, users, and others

Additional Information:

• Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday

• Location: Hybrid; 3x a month (with flexibility as needed) at 885 Third Ave, New York, NY
